Privacy Policy

The short version
There's no sign-up, no account, and no server storing anything about you. This site is a static set of files; your browser downloads them and runs the whole app locally. Your practice progress stays on your device. Nobody, including us, can see it.
What we don't collect
We don't run analytics, don't use advertising or tracking scripts, and don't have a database of users. There is no way to identify you, because we never ask for anything that would.
What stays on your device
Study and practice progress (which words you've unlocked, which case/article combinations you've mastered) is saved in your browser's local storage, a standard web feature for storing data on your own device. It's never sent to a server, because there is no server to send it to. It stays until you clear your browser's site data for this domain, or use a different browser or device. See the Cookie Policy for exactly what's stored.
Third-party requests
The site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which can see your IP address, similar to any other resource fetched from a third-party domain. Google's handling of that request is covered by Google's own privacy policy. That's the only third-party request this site makes.
If the app is installed as a Progressive Web App ("Add to Home Screen"), it caches its own files locally so it works offline. That cache lives on your device and isn't a tracking mechanism.
Hosting
The site is hosted as static files. The host may log standard, aggregate web server data (like request counts) for operating the service, the same as any web host. We don't have access to individual visitor data beyond that.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it. Given how little data this site touches, changes should be rare.
